Reaction to The Ghosts Of Berlin

This book is great in that it connects German's history with its contemporary urban architecture. Brian Ladd introduces me to Berlin’s many monuments and buildings from both a descriptive and historical perspective. He helps me realize that there is more to Berlin than just bricks and cement. After reading this book, I have a strong desire to visit every street in Berlin to soak in its history and architectural wonders.
